I'd like to find a responsible, trustworthy, tidy Monday to Friday lodger for my place. The flat is quite large, tidy and clean; its a split level two bedroom maisonette in a very quiet road. It has its own front door so feels more like a house. It has two large reception rooms, a well equipped kitchen, and clean bathroom. No garden sorry! I have fast wireless internet, large TV, BluRay, surround sound etc. I'm in the beautiful Poets Corner area of Herne Hill, very close to Brockwell Park and the Lido.
The room for rent is a large clean and furnished with loads of space in two built-in wardrobes.
Its a very short walk to Herne Hill train station (Zone 2, trains to Victoria, Blackfriars, City, Farringdon, St. Pancras). A longer walk (12 minutes), or frequent buses to Brixton tube station (Zone 2, Victoria Line - Victoria, Vauxhall, Oxford Circus, Euston, etc).
There's a couple of small supermarkets in Herne Hill, a good selection of small local shops, cafes, bars and pubs. There is a bigger supermarket a few minutes walk away towards Brixton, and a much larger selection of shops and business in Brixton itself.
I am the owner of the property, and have lived in it for 16 years. I work at home, with occasional travel. I am easy going and friendly, and like to keep the place clean and tidy - looking for someone similar.
I have a cleaner who comes every two weeks, and a window cleaner every 12 weeks - both included with rent. I have had lodgers here for many years, and I'm happy to provide references from some previous lodgers.
