Housemates wanted in a wonderful flat

We are looking for a friendly, considerate and kind housemate to move into a bright spacious flat. The location is amazing, right next to Herne Hill station, close to lots of cafes, and more or less opposite Brockwell Park. Brixton tube station is a 15-minute walk away.

The listed rent includes bills. Couples are welcome to apply and we will decide together how to split the rent and the bills. The moving in date is flexible.

The flat is situated on the 3rd floor of a Victorian block. It has high ceilings, lots of natural light, an open-plan kitchen/dining room overlooking the park, a living room, a bathroom (with a shower and a bath), a separate toilet, a study and a storage room. The kitchen has gas hobs, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine, two small fridges and a freezer. The room comes equipped with a double mattress, a wardrobe, a bedside cabinet and a spectacular view.

You will be sharing with Lev, 38, an experimental quantum physicist and Sam, 41, a writer and former foreign correspondent, who also runs a creative agency. Sam is passionate about books, travel and cooking. He also likes rock climbing and running (currently training for a half marathon) and practices meditation. Lev likes music, arts and travelling and enjoys playing the cello, so it is important you do not view this as a bad habit. Lev's girlfriend, an artist, also called Sam, is often at the flat and contributes to the bills.
