Great sized double in spacious quiet two bed flat

Hello! I've got a great sized double room in a two bed flat in between Herne Hill and Tulse Hill (a few minutes walk from beautiful Brockwell Park) - available from late May/early June 2024 - as my lovely current Flatmate is moving out to live with her partner.

It comes complete with a comfy double bed, shelves and a built in wardrobe, as well as blackout blinds and an original Victorian fireplace. Plenty of room for a desk if needed - and it was only painted and carpeted last year, so nice and fresh!

The flat itself is spacious and recently renovated - including a good open plan kitchen/dining/living room space.

You'll be sharing the flat with me - a friendly mid thirties female professional, working in communications for a climate change NGO. I like getting out and about, playing hockey and squash, as well as working in London at least two days a week. Keen to keep a pretty relaxed vibe in the flat - if I'm in, I'll sometimes cook in the evening or watch a bit of Netflix.

The bathroom has a bath and shower, and there's a separate toilet (always helpful). They are both shared with just me.

The flat itself is on the first floor, with one above and one below. Neighbours are lovely and quiet.

The local area is amazing - transport wise, you have Tulse Hill station 5 mins walk away and Herne Hill station only 15 mins, with Brixton tube on the victoria line a ten minute bus ride away. You're nicely placed between the charming Herne hill shops, market, park and lido; the sites of West Norwood - Co-op, PictureHouse cinema, and library (a great place to work!); and buzzing Brixton bars and restaurants.
