Brixton tube station (Victoria line) is a 10 min walk away. There are loads of bus routes that converge on Herne Hill, including no: 3, 196, 37, 322, 68, 468, 690, and 201. The house is a short bus ride away from Kings College.

Herne Hill is situated between Brixton and Dulwich and there are many reasons why this is such a great area besides the ones I’ve mentioned. There are lots of independent shops and a good selection of pubs, restaurants, a wonderful Sunday market, selling artisan food stuffs and crafts and the more mundane. The beautiful Brockwell Park with its Lido and Gym is at the centre of it all and is 2 mins from the house.

I’m a gay man in my 60’s with a theatre design background, whose interests include, unsurprisingly, the arts, cooking, and left-wing politics. It would be great if you had similar interests so we had something in common. I’m looking for someone who is clean, tidy and respectful but it would be lovely to meet someone who is also relaxed and funny. I’m also looking for someone who goes out to work.
