Description
A room is coming available in our lovely 3 bed Victorian flat conversion as Amanda is relocating to Brighton in June, and so we are looking for a new person who wants to sign on when our lease comes up for renewal 1st June
The flat has a big kitchen and a bright big living space with large south-facing windows. It also has a lovely balcony which catches the afternoon and evening sun which is perfect for a glass of wine to welcome in the summer evenings or a morning coffee to watch the day unfold.
The room is a good sized double at the top floor back of the house. It gets the morning sun and overlooks gardens and greenery with a decorative fireplace feature.
The flat is let unfurnished, so you'd need to bring/buy your own furniture, however Amanda is happy to leave a bed-base and a chest of drawers, the room also has a built in wardrobe. We've found gumtree and freecycle very helpful for cheap furniture finds in the past.
You are welcome to use the living room when you WFH, though we'd prefer if any "office"-set up was put away at the end of the working day, to allow us to use it for leisure and recovery!
Bike storage can also be accommodated, and there is on-street parking on the adjacent roads.
Bills come to about £130pcm (council, elec, gas, tv, water, internet and shared kitty for cleaning supplies)
The two existing flatmates are Steph- a 34 year old management consultant / eco enthusiast. Into running, culture, dogs and brisk walks around Brockwell park, and Brogan a 27 (super chilled) northerner who works at an art gallery in central London, who loves festivals, baking, gigs and pottery!
We have all got on well over the two years, we chat when we are all in but often one or two of us are out due to our various hobbies.
We are also mindful to keep our space nice and tidy and clean on a weekly rota
Location wise, we are a two minute walk from lovely Brockwell Park and a 10 minute walk to Herne Hill station (or 15 to West Dulwich station, 20 to Tulse Hill).
If this sounds like a potential match for you, please send us a message with a little bit more detail about yourself - we are aiming to do viewings Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th, so please let us know if either of those would work for you too
Looking forward to hearing from you!
