Double bedroom - 5 mins from Brockwell Park

Re-advertising due to someone dropping out.

I’m looking for a female flatmate to join me (Poppy, current flatmate) in a 2 bedroom, 1st floor flat in Herne Hill from the 15th November.

The property is really well located, with a 10 minute walk to Brixton Tube and a 12 minute walk to Herne HIll train station. There are also multiple buses that take you to Clapham, Dulwich, Camberwell and Crystal Palace.

5 min walk to Brockwell Park. 9 minute walk to big Sainsbury’s and other little shops nearby too. There is also an amazing coffee shop with homemade gelato a few moments from the flat, and Herne Hill farmer’s market every Sunday.

The flat itself has a big living/dining room with huge windows and lots of natural light, a large dining table and lots of room for personal items. There is a separate kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, and a bathroom with a bath and good storage.

The room available is a really good size double that comes with a double bed, mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The room faces away from the street, overlooking back gardens.

The flat also has a hallway for coats and shoes and a huge garage for bikes/storage at the back of the (ground floor flat’s) garden. We have lovely neighbours who we get on well with.

Bills are separate and come to around £150 a month. No agent; we communicate directly with the landlord who is very responsive and accommodating. No deposit required.

I’ve been here for 10 months now. I’m a civil servant and I attend the office 2-3 days a week. I like Pilates, cooking and watching a good series - all the usual things. Looking to live with someone friendly who enjoys the occasional catch up / glass of wine, and wants to stay long term.
