11 minutes walk from Brixton Tube and a 12 minute walk from Herne HIll train station.

There is also a bus stop right outside the flat that takes you to Clapham. 6 min walk from Brockwell Park. 9 minute walk to big Sainsbury’s and other little shops nearby too. There is also an amazing coffee shop with homemade gelato a few moments from the flat, and Herne Hill farmer’s market every Sunday.

The flat itself has a big living/dining room with huge windows and lots of natural light, and a separate kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.

The room available is a good size that comes with a double bed, mattress, wardrobe and bedside table. The room faces away from the street, overlooking back gardens.

The flat also has a hallway for coats and shoes (not pictured) and a huge garage for bikes/storage at the back of the (ground floor flat’s) garden. We have lovely neighbours who we get on well with.

Bills come to around £125 a month. No agent; we communicate directly with the landlord who is very responsive and accommodating. No deposit required.

I’ve been here for 6 months now. I’m a civil servant and go into the office 3 days per week. I like Pilates, cooking and watching a good series - all the usual things. Looking to live with someone friendly who enjoys the occasional catch up / shared meal / glass of wine, and wants to stay long term.
