Description

Hi there!

I'm looking for someone to sublet my room from 1-18th of May, which is the master on the first floor of the house, including a lovely en-suite. You'll have full of use of the furniture and whatever you need in the house. I'll also clear one of the wardrobes for you and make sure there's fridge & cupboard space so you can be comfortable.

We are a house of young professionals - a Lawyer, Data Analyst, Start-Upper and a PR Exec.

Rob & Ben have lived here for just almost 2 years and Richard for about a year, with Izzy being the newest addition. We all have our own things going on, but if we're home at the same time, we'll throw a dinner together, put a film on, make some tea and have a good natter.

The house is huge and homely with five double bedrooms over three floors (plus basement for storage). It was renovated two years ago with new carpets and extra insulation, though it is an older building so there are quirks and a few draughty windows.

On the ground floor is a large living room, kitchen, utility room, a downstairs loo and a dining room which opens out onto our garden (spot Ben growing vegetables and herbs in!).

On the first floor are three bedrooms (including the master), a bathroom (with bath), and a separate loo.

The top floor has two further bedrooms, a new bathroom and a home office with sofa bed and enough space for three desks if needed.

Please send us a message with information about yourself and we'll do our best to get back to you asap.

PS: some extra bits and bobs for your info…

Interested in: music, cooking, socialising, swimming, films, theatre, yoga, cycling, wine, eating out, gigs, tennis, exercise, literature, culture.

Rent
The room costs £330 per week, so in total for the 18 days would be £850.

Bills
To make things easier with housemates I'll cover the bills and include the cost in the rent.

Transport
The house is an 8 minute walk from Herne Hill and 10-15 to North Dulwich stations, which between them have fast trains to Victoria, London Bridge and Gatwick. Brixton is the nearest Tube, which is a 10 minute cycle or 25ish minute walk away. Many of us cycle and we have bike storage in our garden.

Local amenities:
Sainsbury's, Tesco, Brockwell Park, Herne Hill market, Half Moon pub & The Florence pub all within a 10 minute walk. Also close to Dulwich and Ruskin parks as well as Brockwell Park Lido & Gym. The area is quiet and relaxed but easy to cycle into Central.
