Description

Hiya everyone out there,
My current flatmate is moving out end of this year and I am currently looking for a replacement flatmate.
The place is a beautiful two-bedroom appartement in the heart of Herne Hill, which is a really lovely, quiet and safe area. Great access to several beautiful parks (Brockwell and Ruskin Park are 5-10min walking distance) and there are nice cafes and restaurants around as well. We have good access to public transport, only 2 mins from the nearest bus stop (there are plenty of other bus stops in a 10 min radius) and 10 min from the nearest train station, which takes you to Kings Cross in about 20 mins. There is a Tesco and a Sainsbury’s in 10 min walking distance and a couple of off-licence even closer.
The flat consists of two double bedrooms, a really spacious living room, good-sized kitchen, and bathroom with separate toilet room. The flat also comes with a balcony with the most amazing view across London, we get beautiful sunsets and a fantastic view of the London skyline. The flat is part of a larger compound of apartment buildings and the whole court has a very tight-knit community feel, which is really lovely.
The room up for rent is a bit smaller in size than the other two rooms, however, there is space for storage in the hallway as well as the possibility of having an office/ studio corner in the living room. The room will be unfurnished. Heating is included (which means toasty winters!), but council tax/water/electricity is extra which comes up to around 130/month.
And a bit about me:). I’m 25, fresh out of uni and working in the field of textile/fashion design. I'm a classic introverted extrovert, I love spending time with the people I love, but also need my alone time in my room where I can get lost in my work, so I'm definitely respectful of my flatmate’s personal space and need for alone time. I love cooking and hosting dinner parties for my friends, reading, working on my textile and art projects, going to museums and galleries, and spending time in the parks around Herne Hill.
In a flatmate, I am looking for someone who is relaxed and respectful, and is happy to share the occasional meal or spend some quality time together. Tidiness is important to me, and I am looking for someone to take care of the place as their home and who takes equal responsibility for house chores.
If this sounds like the right place for you, please reach out with some details about you, your life and your interests! And of course happy to answer any questions you might have.
Looking forward to hearing from you:)
Lilla xx
