Oct - Jan sublet in Herne Hill

Hello. My partner is going off travelling for a few months and is looking for someone to take our spare room whilst she’s away.

About us:
It's a bright, cosy double room in a relaxed, lived in home. You'd be sharing with me, Hayriye (28, queer, mental health professional) and Smooky (7 months, void). You may be sharing with my partner (Fizza, 28, resident doctor) for some of the time as well.

Rent is £875 and bills are approx £100 each for two people sharing the house. If she’s back for the last month or you move in earlier, then rent/bills will drop to reflect that.

Our landlord is great, he’s very responsive and reasonable and is happy for us to sublet.

Move in and out dates are flexible. This used to be my partners bedroom before I moved in, she says its very cosy and has a lovely view out the window when you lay in bed. The chest of drawers/shelving unit/clothes rail will be cleared for you. If you have lots and lots of stuff to store, this may not be the best fit for you, we will try to make as much space available as possible, it's just a bit tricky in this flat.

The area:
We have 68/468 bus stop at the end of the road. Herne Hill station is ~ 7 minute walk. Brockwell Park and Ruskin Park are both gorgeous parks and around 10 min walks in either direction. Brixton is 30 minutes by foot if you want to get the tube (or can hop on a bus there). Herne Hill is a really sweet area, our road is quiet and safe, there's a popular market in the station square on Sundays and lots of cute cafes/breweries/independent shops.
