Lovely cozy room in Herne Hill

The room is available from December 26th until February 19th, perfect if you’re staying in London for a short period of time or need a place to stay before a new tenancy. Dates are flexible!

My name is Mariana and I am subletting my room for the winter in my cozy creative flat. We’re looking for a subletter for our calm + friendly female flat. You’ll be living with Sophie, who works for a photography company, Lottie, a knitwear designer, and Milly, a visual artist. They’re a British + Australian mix and we’re in our mid to late 20’s, we’re chatty when we cross paths, and enjoy flat outings to the local market, and having film nights. Our interests include knitting, plants, photography, music, eating food + exploring/walking around London.

The room has a good size and gets beautiful light in the afternoon. It has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelf and chair, and some extra storage bits. £650 per month includes all bills :)

Our shared areas are a spacious kitchen with a gas hob, washing machine + dishwasher. A large bright bathroom with a bathtub, and separate shower, a w. c., storage closet. There’s also a separate w. c. next to the bedroom and the flat entrance with a sink and toilet. Finally, there’s a small box room with a futon sofa bed that works as a small living room/guest room, as well as a TV screen for movie nights.

We value a good level of cleanliness but don’t have any formal cleaning rota - we’re looking for someone who will be respectful + proactively chip in to keep the place tidy.

LGBTQ+ and vegan friendly, mixed diets between the flatmates, we share small fridges in 2 and have a communal freezer.

We are on the 3rd floor by stairs and a two-minute walk from Herne Hill train station, with 10/15min connections to central London, and a 20-minute walk to Brixton station on the Victoria line. We’re also a hop, skip + jump from Brockwell Park, which has a Sunday market, lido, and festivals through the summer, perfect for sunny weather!

Lots of cute indie shops, delis + your usual supermarkets seconds away, and the market on Sundays is really sweet too!
