Room from May Between Herne Hill and Brixton

I’m sadly moving out of my lovely flat this May, so we are looking for a new flatmate!
You’d be sharing with Megha and Camilla, a master’s student at LSE and a researcher at King’s. They’re great to live with and we've had a wonderful time making this our home. We all have our own lives but definitely enjoy the "home" side of things, like catching up over dinner, movie nights, crafting or puzzling together. We also have the occasional gathering or guests coming to visit, in which case all flatmates are always welcome to hangout :)

The room is on the second floor, so it’s really quiet and stays warm in the winter. It comes with a double bed, desk, and bedside table, plus you get your own wardrobe and drawers just outside the door for extra space. Since one of the other rooms is en-suite, you’ll only share a bathroom with one other person. There's a big bright living room and a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine.

We’re looking for someone ideally 25–35 y/o, we’re leaning towards a girl, but we’re open to a guy if the vibe is right! Since the girls are currently students, you’ll be responsible for the council tax at first if you're working, until they finish their studies (one in July, the other in September), so the tax will be split between everyone from then on!

•⁠ ⁠Rent: £865 pcm.
•⁠ ⁠Bills: Usually around £75 (water, gas, electric)
•⁠ ⁠Deposit: Approx £612 per person
•⁠ ⁠Contract: Runs until November 10 and then it's renewable.
•⁠ ⁠Available: 1st May 2026
•⁠ ⁠Landlord: Honestly lovely and actually fixes things! Also a private landlord, no agencies.
•⁠ ⁠We don't currently have Wi-Fi in the flat since we've been fine with our data, but we have a projector for films which is a total vibe 🎬
