Room available in Herne Hill house

Hello!

We are a young couple looking for someone to share our home with. We live in the wonderful Herne Hill, and have a spare room with a super-king bed and its own bathroom. The room is available from 1 July for a minimum of six months, with viewings taking place throughout June.

Our house is modern and fully furnished, with three other bedrooms (two used as studies), three bathrooms, two living/tv areas, a dining room, kitchen, utility room and 100 foot+ garden. The room available was previously the master bedroom prior to a loft conversation, with it being the only bedroom slept in on the first floor (we are in the loft room). It has plenty of storage (three double wardrobes and a chest of drawers), two large bay windows which offer plenty of light, and room for a desk for home working if needed.

We are a five minute walk from Herne Hill train station (with regular trains into the city and Victoria) and Brockwell Park, and ten minutes from Brixton tube, meaning it is ideally located for access in and around London.

We are looking for a lodger who is friendly, easy to get along with and respectful. We are both young professionals with busy work / social lives so are often out of the house during the week, but enjoy being at home on the weekends. If you are looking for a week night only room, we would very happy to discuss if that could work.

Bills are split three ways and include, along with water, internet, council tax and energy, a lovely cleaner who comes once a week. In total these come in at approximately £300 a month each (but vary depending on energy usage).

Price is negotiable, the key thing for us is finding the right person.
