Double room in Herne Hill house

Hi!

Will, Matt and I recently signed a lease on a huge 4 bedroom house in Herne Hill and are looking for a new housemate to join us from 8th August. The house is in the heart of Herne Hill, 5 mins walk to Brockwell Park, under 10 minutes to Herne Hill station and all the pubs and shops Herne Hill has to offer. There is a dedicated parking space out the front should it be needed.

The house has a huge kitchen diner which opens out to a big garden with 2 patios which gets sun most of the day. There's a basement with separate washer/dryer and an additional fridge and freezer. There are 2 reception rooms, one with a working fireplace, so loads of space for everyone to relax and 2 bathrooms. The whole house has just been painted and new carpets put in so it's looking fresh!

The Room
The room is a decent double and comes with double bed and mattress, desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers. However, if you have your own furniture this can be negotiated for removal with the landlord.

•5 minutes walk to Brockwell Park
•8 mins to Herne Hill Station with connections to Victoria, Blackfriars, Farringdon and Kings X
•20 minute walk to Brixton
• 5 minute walk to Birdhouse Brewery (our fave drinking spot) and generally all the other pubs and shops Herne Hill offers
• 5 min walk to a buses that go to Brixton, Clapham, East Dulwich and beyond

Us!
We've all been living in Brixton/Herne Hill separately prior to this but are already mates. We very much have our own social lives too but enjoy a hang out together. We're all generally into sports and like to keep active but up for a pub run too! I come with a fat ginger cat called Gwen who loves people and cuddles, pics included!

We're really looking for someone that that fits our dynamic and is looking for a tidy, respectful and homely space. And someone who Iikes cats! Logistically we'd be adding you to the lease and ensuring any bond was secured through the normal process.

I'm bringing quite a bit of furniture and plants from my old place but it's a huge space so open to anything you might be bringing too, we're pretty excited to make the place a home!

•Meg - 31, works in Data and AI for a Japanese bank. Interests - pilates, gym, gardening, gigs, hiking
•Will - 30, Data Analyst. Interests - Tennis, running, football, gigs
• Matt - 30, Cancer Research for the NHS. Interests - Tennis, football, camping
