Double room in spacious victorian house

Double room for one person in large victorian house with a garden near Brixton.

Looking for a responsible calm person who is wishing to live a quiet life whilst at home. We live independent lives and tend to do our own thing, socialising outside the house but all the same friendly and sharing the house in a warm and respectful atmosphere. We are working professionals - I am an art and photography teacher.

The room is furnished and on the first floor of a shared family house - resident owner, young adult daughter (soon to leave) and tenant who has been here many years. It is not a particularly modernised house, but it's fine and light with a large shared bathroom with shower and bath, kitchen/diner and small garden. We have a cat, and need someone who would be willing to feed it when I am away. All mod cons, internet and bills included.

It is a friendly neighbourhood with excellent transport links and lots to do nearby. We are 15 mins walk from Brixton and a short walk to both Denmark Hill and Loughborough Junction stations. Buses are 45, 35 345 and P4. Nearby is Ruskin Park, Brockwell Park, Herne Hill and Dulwich.
