Stripped floor and neutral decoration. The house has a large, newly fitted kitchen which is the hub of the house. There is also a pretty hall with comfy seating, a good sized, modern bathroom, downstairs loo & shower and a big garden with barbecue etc. Tina the Cleaner comes every Thursday to clean common areas. (She'll do yours as and when you want, for a fee!)
Very laid back atmosphere. Current tenants are in TV, publishing - and a very well read accountant! They are all independent and busy, so this may not be for you if you are looking for flatmates to socialize with every eve. Having said that, they are very friendly. I own the house and live next door in garage conversion.
If you don't know Herne Hill, it has everything. Sainsburys at top of road, 4 minute walk to HH station, 9 mins to Victoria and trains to Blackfriars, Kings X, Farringdon etc. Lots of buses, inc night buses, and 15 mins walk to Brixton. Bars, restaurants and Brockwell Pk with lido and gym are on your doorstep. Will consider short term let.
