A huge double room in Herne Hill is available for a short term let this summer from 23rd July to 25th of August. The house is located in zone 2 on a lovely leafy street, 2 mins walk from the nearest station, perfect for anyone who is in between houses or new to London :)

THE ROOM:
A positively humongous room, fully furnished with double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk, big comfy armchair, and ample storage space. The room is quiet, private, and has a big bright bay window that lets in loads of natural light.

THE HOUSE:
Big Victorian house with 3 bedrooms split over 4 storeys. Fully equipped kitchen, massive lounge/dining, large bathroom with separate bath & shower and drum roll please... good water pressure! Free on street parking.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Beautiful tree-lined street located on the cusp of Herne Hill and North Dulwich. Super close to Herne Hill and Dulwich villages, pubs & restaurants, farmers markets, big Sainsburys, and lots of green space (Sunray Gardens, Brockwell Park, Dulwich Park, and Sydenham Woods all within easy walking distance).

Excellent transport links:

- 2 mins walk to North Dulwich station (direct train to London Bridge)
- 8 mins walk to Herne Hill station (Thameslink & direct train to Victoria)
- 10 min bus ride to Brixton tube (Victoria line)
- 15 min walk to Denmark Hill (Overground)
- 37 & P4 buses on the door

THE HOUSEMATES
Research shows that my housemates Hayley and Lara are in fact the best humans on the planet. I will have separation anxiety being away from them for an entire month. Meanwhile, you'll be making friends for life.

THE NITTY GRITTY
- The room will be vacant while I am travelling overseas between 23rd July and 17th August. Then I'm only back for a couple of days before going away again until the 25th of August, so you are welcome to stay until then.
- £130 per week (or £575 for the whole month) including all bills
- Couples £150 per week (or £650 for the whole month)
- Shorter lets will be considered
