Description
A good-sized, furnished double bedroom will shortly be available for one woman, in a comfortable three bedroom house, in a traditional residential street, just a short stroll from Highams Park train station, and some very popular cafes.
You will be living in a quiet, clean and tidy house, sharing a large living/lounge room, kitchen, utility room with brand new washing machine, bathroom and two toilets with the others in the household. The landlady lives in, and tries to be as fair and co-operative as possible.
You can take your meals at a large breakfast table indoors in the living/lounge room, at the counter in the kitchen, or at an outdoor patio dining area in the delightful greenery of the wildlife-friendly back garden.
All bills, including the Waltham Forest, Band D rated Council Tax, are included in the rent, apart from vehicle parking permits, as the house is so close to the train station, it is in a Controlled Parking Zone.
The landlady works online from home in her study room downstairs, in the afternoons and early evenings during the week from 3pm to 9pm, and on Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm.
A cleaner will come at least twice a month to vacuum the carpets, and make the kitchen, bathroom and toilets sparkle. She is lovely, and you will get on well with her.
The room is only suitable for working professionals or postgraduate, mature students. Working from home will probably be possible, as long as you do not make much noise with telephone calls and so on.
The house is kept quiet enough for work and study, so you will be expected to use headphones to watch television, listen to music and stream media.
We will need to be flexible on viewing dates, as the woman who is moving away for work does not yet know exactly which date she is leaving the house.
