Highams Park, 3 minutes to Station, Short Let

A good-sized, furnished double bedroom for one person, in a comfortable three bedroom house, in a traditional residential street, is available for 3 months initially, just a short stroll from Highams Park train station, and some very popular cafes.

The room is suitable for working professionals, a postgraduate student, or a mature student, as you will be sharing with the landlady, who works in education, and a PhD student. Working from home for several days a week is possible, as long as you do not make much noise with telephone calls.

You will be living in a quiet, clean and tidy house, sharing a large living/lounge room, kitchen, utility room with new washing machine, bathroom and two toilets with the others in the household.

All bills, including a share of the Waltham Forest, Band D rated Council Tax, are included in the rent, apart from vehicle parking permits, as the house is so close to the train station, it is in a Controlled Parking Zone.

The landlady works online from home in her study room downstairs, in the afternoons and early evenings during the week from 3pm to 9pm, and on Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm.

A cleaner will come at least twice a month to vacuum the carpets, and make the kitchen, bathroom and toilets sparkle.

The house is kept quiet enough for work and study, so you will be expected to use headphones to watch television, listen to music and stream media.

The room is offered on a short term let of 3 months initially. An extension might be possible, but this will depend on events.
