Double room in shared house in Highams Park 🌳

I will be going travelling in January so looking for someone to take my room while I’m away! Short term sublet available from 6th Jan for 3-5 months (will consider outside of this range)

I have an en-suite room with a double bed in a lovely 3 bed house in Highams Park 🌳 I share with 3 lovely housemates (2 guys and 1 girl) aged 25/26 who have all known each other since school/uni so they all get on really well and have made me feel so welcome since moving in in the summer. The house has a living/dining room, front room used as extra living/storage space, shared kitchen and a garden. It really does feel like a home as opposed to a blank canvas and makes it so lovely to live here. The landlord is also a family member of one of the housemates and she is very hands on and absolutely lovely! We are a fairly social house however all work full time so appreciate time to ourselves to unwind. It’s definitely not a party house although we all like a drink together and a night out every now and then!

Highams Park has the perfect balance of having good connections to central while being far enough out of central. It’s on the Weaver Line (hello overground commute 😍) and the house is only a 10/15 min walk from the station. From there it’s only about 25 mins to Liverpool Street so perfect for onward travel into central if needed! We’re also on the W16 and 212 bus routes which run between Chingford/Leytonstone and Chingford/Walthamstow so really well connected 🚌

There’s a cosy pub literally a 5 min walk away so ideally located for a Sunday walk followed by a roast! There’s also a big Tesco and a gym less than a 15 min walk away, plus some coffee shops and bars.

Rent is an absolute BARGAIN at only £600 a month!!! Bills aren’t included in this and these are approx £140 however can vary slightly. The room will be fully furnished with double bed, built in drawers and a huge built in wardrobe, plus my own desk, chair and shoe rack. It will available from 6th Jan until April/May - this can be negotiated and am happy to try and adapt to what suits you! 🫶🏻
