My lovely lodger is moving out making a comfortable fully furnished private spare room for single occupancy available to the right person.
The bedroom occupies the first floor of a welcoming and very quiet 2 BR Ground floor maisonette in a converted Edwardian maisonette with patio garden in leafy Highbury. It is small but perfectly formed.
Approx 3.5 x 2.5 metres, the room has a 4ft double bed, space for hanging clothes, chest of drawers, desk and chair. The windows overlook the back gardens.

Share ground floor sitting room, kitchen (washer/dryer), bathroom and patio garden with me (self-employed mature female) plus 1 rather large friendly cat.

Looking for a professional working mature female lodger.... It’s important you love cats.

I’m a late riser so you would have the bathroom and kitchen to yourself in the mornings. Though semi-retired, I’m still self-employed and have a workshop in Holborn to which I go to on an ad-hoc basis 2-3 days/ evenings a week. And I often teach there on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Highbury is a very quiet and pleasant leafy neighbourhood nestled between Islington and Finsbury Park. Highbury Barn is a few minutes away where there are lots of local shops and cafes. Clissold Park and Highbury Fields are close by.
The flat is an approx 8 minute walk to Arsenal tube station on the Piccadilly line, a 20 minute walk ( or less by bus ) to both Finsbury Park and Highbury and Islington ( Victoria Line) and Drayton Park overground is within a 10 minute walk and trains go into Moorgate from there taking approx 12 minutes.
Buses 4, 19 and 236 usually go from nearby Highbury Barn where there are lots of local cafes and restaurants and Upper Street and Finsbury Park are close by. Highbury Grove is going to be closed to buses for 4 months this autumn. But Arsenal is only a short walk away. I rent a bicycle hanger which I’m happy to make available for £10.00 per month.
