Lovely double room in beautiful house, Highbury

A bright and spacious double room is available in our three-bed house in one of Highbury's most sought after quiet streets. 7 minutes walk to Arsenal tube, 10 to Finsbury Park tube, 2 minutes walk to all the shops, cafes, restaurants and buses. and a short walk to Clissold Park.

My two lovely housemates are in their 30s - Saskia, a Dutch environmental scientist and Jacqui, an Australian financial analyst, are very nice and respectful of the house (this isn’t really a party house!) but also laid back and relaxed. We’re all quite independent, busying away with our lives, but also like to get together for a chin wag and glass of wine when we’re all home.

Your room is really spacious, bright and airy with a big window looking out to our beautiful garden. It comes part-furnished, with a huge wardrobe and a double bed and depending on the circumstances it might be possible to sell you some of the furniture.

We have a spacious living room, with an a-joining space we sort of use as a working space, or for bike storage. The eat-in kitchen is really big too with standard white goods, plus dishwasher and tumble dryer. It opens out to a lovely garden which is great in the summer! Upstairs are the three rooms plus a bathroom with separate shower and bath.

We’re looking for a female housemate with a similar relaxed and happy vibe, that’s looking to stay at least a year (although the contract is rolling monthly, so there's flexibility if needed). The room will be available on the weekend 29/30 June with some flexibility to move the date a bit forward.

The rent is £869 a month, and the deposit is £1200. We deal directly with the landlord who is really nice and quick to respond. Bills usually work out around £100 a month dependent on the time of year. We have a cleaner who comes every two weeks to clean the communal areas. Makes life easier!
