Double Room in quiet Victorian house with garden

The house is Victorian, on 3 levels, with high ceilings and period features, and is located in a quiet residential street. There are 2 kitchens, 1 bathroom with a bath/shower, and 1 bathroom with a shower only. There is a large shared lounge with a dining table in it. There is a cleaner who visits weekly to clean the communal areas). There is a large shared garden.

The room is on the top floor overlooking the garden. It has an original fireplace, built in cupboard/wardrobe, another wardrobe, shelves, a double bed and a desk. It is painted white with white painted floorboards.

The house is closest to Canonbury station on the Overground, or about a 10-15 minute walk from Highbury and Islington tube. There are excellent buses both into the City and the West End. We are not far from Newington Green, and within walking distance of Stoke Newington, Dalston and Upper Street. Clissold Park is about 10 minutes away. We have space for parking a bike.

1. Aged 58 female, performing arts fundraiser
2. Aged 31 female art student/gardener
3. Aged 41 male camera nerd, working in a camera rental house
4. Aged 45 female works in museum collections

We very much want it to be a mixed house, so we have a strong preference for a male housemate.

We all tend to be pretty busy doing our own things, but we are all relaxed and friendly, and happy to have a chat when we're around. We are looking for someone who wants a home, rather than just a room, and someone who is willing to do their share of the chores.

Finally we have an extremely cute relaxed small 4 year old dog. It is very important that our new housemate really loves dogs, and sees living with a dog as a real bonus (not just someone who is willing to put up with a dog).
