Description
🏡 I've just taken a 12 month lease out on a great 2 bed flat in Highbury. The room going is a double which is furnished with a bed and wardrobe. The bathroom is shared and has a bath with shower over. There is a nice light open living room and nicely fitted kitchen. Both look out to the garden which is pretty big and is shared with the rest of the building. The place been nicely looked after and has modern fittings as well as lots of useful storage.
🛋️ The living room haa a few of my things such as sofa, TV, record player and a couple plants (ignore the photo as it's from the last tenants). I welcome people who want to add their own touches and take an interest in making the place nice and comfortable.
📜 You'd be signing onto the lease with me splitting the rent which is £1,100 each per month plus bills (£150-200 month). The deposit is £1,250.
🚂 The flat is 5 mins walk to Arsenal tube (Picaddily) and 10 mins to Highbury & Islington (Victoria and Overground). There is on street parking which will require a permit if you have a car.
🌳 The area is a leafy neighborhood and we are very close to Highbury Fields which has tennis courts. There's Clissord Parks and Finsbury Park not far so lots of good green spaces. Great locations for getting to Hackney or Islington. Arsenal's Emirates football stadium is also very near.
👋🏼 I'm Jules. I've down from Cambridge, starting a new role in central London where I'll be working from the office 5 days a week. I know London well and have pals dotted around the place. I'm a social person who likes music, hiking, exercise (gym & sports), cooking or finding good spots for food, spending too money on overpriced coffee, worries too much about what I wear, and refuse to queue up for brunch.
😁 I'm looking for someone who is easy, open minded, has their own stuff going on but is also happy to chat and might go for a drink. I want the place to feel comfortable and have a nice vibe. It's not a party house but having people round for dinner or a couple drinks is all good. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly house.
You: please let me know a bit about yourself and what you're looking for. I'm happy to swap socials and FaceTime. Please be honest, read the ad, and write more than 2 lines. Sorry, no couples.
⚠️ The garden wall is currently being repaired and so there are building works next to the house. The landlord has been pretty good and responsive about it all. It should be 1-2 months. I will be adding more photos as I move more things in but happy to send more over if you need.
Thanks
Jules ✨
