Double room in 2 bedroom flat by Clissold Park

I need a flatmate or two for a lovely double room in flat on the corner of Clissold Park. Technically in Highbury, but right on the border of Stoke Newington, this is a really green, peaceful, interesting neighbourhood to live in. It’s on the 7th floor, with lovely long views out to the city.

There is a shared living room with lots of light and quite a new (smallish) kitchen. I have set up a projector in the living room for watching things.

The flat is pretty nice, but there is still work being done from time to time (painting, a new bathroom) and it will become more beautiful in the coming months. There’s a dishwasher, new big fridge, a washer dryer, good internet and a new boiler.

One advantage of living here is that I’m away quite often, sometimes for weeks at a time, so you’d have the place to yourself then.

The bedroom has loads of storage, with a big chest of drawers, drawers under the bed, bookshelves and a fitted wardrobe. There is also the option of having a small desk in the room.

I work from home, so I’m in quite a lot when I am in London (in my room mostly). I’m into meditation and making music - and do those things in my room.

I’m pretty friendly and easy going. I’m looking for a flatmate who is clean and tidy as it’s a small space to share. I’m also happy to jointly pay for a cleaner. I like to cook and am happy to include others in meals, but also happy for us to do our own thing.
