Large room in friendly Highbury house share

Note: Unfortunately we are not accepting interest in sublets, and have a preference for a move in date of 1 August.

We are Simon, Adam, and Mishayla. Our current flatmate Sarah is unfortunately moving out soon so we are looking for a new like-minded and social flatmate to join us in our peaceful, gated home in Highbury🙂

It's the perfect balance of a quiet residential area with amazing transport links and great local shops (including big supermarkets on Holloway Road and indie cafés towards Highbury & Angel).

The Room & House:
Very well connected: 2 min walk to Drayton Park, 10 mins to Arsenal & 12 mins to Highbury & Islington
Quiet, gated off street: Although we’re not far from Emirates Stadium we’re tucked away in a private road so have little noise even on match days and have never had any issues with crowds.

The room sits at the rear of the house (room 4 on the plan), offering plenty of built-in storage and room for a WFH desk. The room has a beautiful view looking onto plenty of greenery. Furniture staying in the room includes a bed and mattress, as well as one shelving unit (pictured to the left of the bed in the second picture of the bedroom)

4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen/living area with gas hobs, dishwasher, and a separate utility room (washing machine + dryer). There’s also rear patio space, plus off-street parking if you need it. Fast 500mb fibre internet
Bonus: The neighbor’s cat, Merlin, pops in sometimes to say hello.

About us:

We’re three friendly professionals who enjoy sports, cooking, gaming and exploring London’s food scene. We are all laid back, tidy, and strike a good balance socialising together and doing our own thing. We aim for a homely vibe, not just a place to live with strangers.

Simon is a Software Engineer and enjoys bouldering, swimming, racquet sports, cooking, F1, gaming and exploring new restaurants. He is hybrid working with time split between WFH and in the office.

Adam is a 3D Artist in the video game industry. His hobbies include cinema, listening to most music genres, food (he's actively striving to be a better cook!), and, of course, gaming. He works remotely.

Mishayla is the newest addition to the house, and works as a kitchen designer in central London. She's originally from New Zealand, and is always up for a pub outing or movie with friends and flatmates. Also an avid baker, so delicious baked goods will be a regular feature in the home!

What we're looking for:

We’d love another female professional to keep the balance. Ideally someone who’ll enjoy a friendly, laid-back atmosphere—happy to socialize yet also comfortable doing their own thing.
