Double Room for rent in spacious flat Highbury!

Looking for a new flatmate to take over my friend’s room in our beautiful flat in the centre of Highbury! (Available from 1st June).

About the room:
Good sized room with a large window which brings in lots of natural light. Comes semi-furnished with a double bed and large wardrobe, which can easy double up as a storage unit depending on how many clothes you have. It has a space between the wall and the end of the bed which could fit a desk or another piece of furniture, plus plenty of room for a bedside table etc.

The rent is £1290pcm. Bills are typically between £100-200 on top of that, depending energy usage, and covers electricity, gas, council tax (Band D) and fiberoptic wifi. The room is available from the 1st June, however there is some flexibility as to when the exact start date is, so no stress if you can’t move in that quickly! You’ll be replacing one of my good mates who is moving in with his partner.

About the flat:
You’ll be living in a bright two bed apartment situated on a sought after tree-lined street in Highbury. I have lived in London for nearly 7 years and it is by far the nicest place i have ever lived in. The flat has an abundance of natural light with massive windows and high ceilings. There are two double bedrooms, a large living room, a decent fitted kitchen, bathroom and a massive communal garden (!!) which is located downstairs out the back.

The flat is part of a building managed by a property agency who clean the stairs/hallways, check security, etc. every week and it also comes with a lift which is handy.

Walking distance to Piccadilly, Victoria and Overground lines, as well as bus and National Rail connections. Highbury and Islington is about a 12-15min walk depending on how quickly you walk. Canonbury station is 5mins down the road. Arsenal about 5-10mins. Very close to Clissold Park and Highbury Fields! Also not far at all from Upper St/Green Lanes/Stoke Newington Church Street, which have amazing restaurants pubs and bars.

About me:
I’m a 31 year old, working as a Civil Servant in Whitehall. I’ve lived in this flat for just over two years and have enjoyed every minute of it. Interests include film, climbing, photography, running and hanging out at the pub! Also an avid watcher of sport. I spent most of my time in either North or East and basically cycle everywhere on a lime bike. I’ve lived in London for near on 7 years but am originally from just outside in Hertfordshire. I usually work 2/3 days in the office and WFH the remaining.

About you:
