Double Room in Highbury

Hello! We are looking for a friendly, easy-going person to join us in our Highbury flat. The room will be available from the 23rd of August.

The three-level house has a spacious living room, a separate bathroom and toilet, a small but functional kitchen and a roof terrace. The house has lots of character, beautiful Victorian details and is very comfortable.

The available double bedroom is on the top floor. It’s quiet, and comes furnished.

Location :
7 minute walk to Arsenal Station, 12 min walk to Finsbury park, 20 min walk to Highbury and Islington. The number 4, 19 and 236 bus routes all stop outside the house.
We’ve got lots of lovely grocery shops, pubs and parks nearby.

Who you would be living with :
Charis (she/her, Museum Technician)
Anouk (she/they, Somatic Therapist/Teacher)
We are both pretty busy but we love to catch up when we can and have a meal together every now and then.

Bills :
Our monthly bills come to about £124 each including gas, electricity, water, council tax - Band D - and internet.
We also have a fortnightly cleaner (£33.34 per month each).
You’ll need to pass reference checks and sign on to a new 12-month lease with us. Rent is paid directly to our landlord on the first of the month.

House viewings will be held on Friday 31st July (late afternoon/early eve) and Saturday 1st Aug (morning/afternoon)

A few other things to keep in mind: our landlord doesn’t allow bikes inside the house, there’s no dishwasher or microwave.

We are looking for someone in their 30s/40s who predominantly does not work from home. Also, no couples, no pets, sorry!
