Double Room in Large House with Garden in Highbury

We’re looking for a tidy and considerate person to join us in our lovely Victorian townhouse in a quiet spot of Highbury!

The Room 🛏
The room is very spacious and overlooks our garden, which is great during the summer for barbecues in summer and morning coffee in the sun. It comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, a set of drawers and a bedside table.

The Flat 🏡
The rest of our house is also very spacious with a massive lounge (including dining table), kitchen, bathroom and a second toilet. Our kitchen has a dishwasher, two fridges and a washer/dryer.

Location 📍
The location is absolutely fantastic in a quiet, trendy area of Highbury. We’re about a 10 minute walk to both Finsbury Park and Arsenal tube stations (Victoria and Piccadilly lines plus National Rail), and are close to lots of bus services. There are loads of restaurants, cafes, pubs and other cool places to eat and drink in the area. Clissold Park is a short stroll away at the end of our street, and there is a wide variety of shops and supermarkets within walking distance.

Admin 🗃
Bills currently come to around £130 a month which includes energy, water, council tax (band E), fibre broadband, TV licence, general house supplies and a cleaner every fortnight. We have a good landlord who responds very quickly to any issues or requests and we deal with them directly.

You will need to complete standard reference and employment checks, and payment of the deposit before you move in. We pay rent on the 1st of every month, direct to our landlord.

About us ☺️
You’ll be sharing with three professionals: Ed, Meaghan and Elizabeth. Ed and Meaghan are a couple. The three of us have a really good dynamic and enjoy living together. We like to make our flat feel like a home and have a friendly, relaxed household.

We all work from home regularly, with some of us working from home full-time and others splitting their time between home and the office. We’re looking for someone who is respectful of the house, willing to pitch into general cleaning duties and is keen for chats in the kitchen and occasional dinners together.
