Comfortable double room in lovely Highbury garden flat
We have 200Mg cable broadband,
We are in the heart of Highbury, (Zone 2) a short walk from Highbury Fields and Upper Street with all the food and entertainment it has to offer. Canonbury Station is round the corner and Highbury and Islington tube a few minutes’ walk away.
We are a happy easy going couple, and one of our grown up sons lives here full time too. We are, as you can probably tell from the look of the flat, a fairly boho lot. He is a photographer, writer and driver, she teaches pilates. The atmosphere is relaxed, we sit down to a properly cooked evening meal every night and this is included in the rent, as are all bills. Sundays, if we are at home, is a big lunch, and maybe friends over for drinks in the yard. Diane is a fantastic cook and you can always invite people along too. We eat a largely plant based diet, with a bit of cheese and the odd egg. Breakfast is provided but you help yourself. As you can see from the pictures we have a large comfortable living room and everyone is always welcome to hang out there to watch TV, scoff chocs, help finish off a bottle of wine etc. We also love music - the place if full of instruments of one kind or another. We throw a couple of big parties a year but generally the house is quiet.
Your room is your own space however and you are welcome to have guests whenever you like.

The rent is £1000 per month for a single person and we have decided not to take couples for the time being. We cover all bills and food so there’s nothing else to pay for.
The room is available on a short to medium term at the moment. Certainly until after the summer. and possibly beyond..
