Double bedroom available in a 3-bed flat on the highly desirable Highbury Crescent (right on Highbury Fields). Available from 1 August 2025. Sadly one of our flatmates (Laura) is moving back home to Australia.
The flat:
Gorgeous 3-bed basement flat with lots of natural light, comprising a separate kitchen, large living/dining room, two other bedrooms (one with an ensuite), and main bathroom which has a separate shower and bath. You will share this bathroom with Amy. There is also a huge garden out the back (shared with three other flats) with sun loungers – perfect for hosting parties and BBQs in the warmer weather.
The room:
The room is a lovely furnished bedroom, with double bed, wardrobe, one large chests of draws, one bedside table, small mirror with gold frame, and two desk lamps which come with the room. A mirror, desk, desk chair, laundry basket, keyboard, mouse and monitor can be purchased from Laura if you would like. Please let us know if you would like to do that.
The location:
Right on Highbury Fields with Upper St just minutes away, near Holloway Road with all its supermarkets, as well as Canonbury, Barnsbury, Highbury and Stoke Newington with all their lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs – everything is within easy reach! Getting about is easy too – we are 5 minutes on foot from Highbury & Islington station (Victoria line, Overground, National Rail) and bus options are numerous too.
About us:
You will be living with Poppie (30, lawyer, British) and Amy (33, lawyer, Kiwi). Laura’s review of us: “two lovely, clean, kind and considerate girls who it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know and live with – shame to be leaving!”.
New flatmate preferences:
Female, professional, between 28 to 33 years old, who (when our schedules allow – London, you know!) would enjoy doing things together from checking out the newest café in the area or play at the Almeida, to having a chilled night in to watch a film that’s trending on Netflix or catchup over some wine!
Admin:
- Lease is currently being renewed to July 2026. The real estate agent requires this to be sorted by the end of May (with some flexibility).
- Rent is currently £1,200 a month with a £1,403 deposit payable
- Bills have been around £150 a month
- TV licence has been paid to Feb 2026. There will be a small amount of £28.25 to pay to cover the six month period that you will be in the flat from Aug 2025-Feb 2026
