Room for rent in Islington

Hey Roomies

A room in the flat is opening up mid March right in near Arsenal station (5 minute walk) and Highbury & Islington (15 minute walk).

It’s a spacious 2bed 2bath on the ground floor with a nice large patio/balcony that gets plenty of sunlight (even in the winter!).

Your bedroom is pictured and has the main bathroom right across from it. This will be your bathroom that is sometimes used by guests when over for dins. I’m happy for people to use mine as well!

The flat is ideal for a professional who is easy going, takes care of themselves& space, and enjoys a good chat when we cross paths and or coordinate a dinner. Bonus points if you have something unique / interesting about you and are open to share culinary tricks! My jerk chicken is out of this world spicy and enough to make Jesus walk again.

About me: I’m a tech consultant who wfh 3-4 days per week (normally in my room, where my desk is, so I can stay in the zone). I align pretty well to the points above and always open for a chat on various topics. My work tends to take me into the evening hours, so Monday-Weds I’ll make my meals at home, visit the gym/classes, and or watching random factual YouTubes on the TV. Equally down to watch other TV. Occasionally I'll ask to host 1-2 people for dinner once a month or so. Of course flatmates are always welcome and will always respect your personal / downtime asks. On the weekends I am normally out with friends and or travelling about. In fact, I’ve been in Brazil for the past 2 months and seeking to go back in the near future, so you may have extended periods all for yourself!

The flat is furnished (minus a few bits the existing flatmate Alejendra is taking with her as she moves in with her LT partner) and I prefer to keep the cleaner coming bi-weekly :)

PS, the Arsenal games are not an issue as the playtime is early afternoon or evening. Fans are normally gone shortly after the games. It actually adds to the magic of the neighbourhood!
