The Room:
- A huge 23m² room
- Fully furnished with a king bed and a spacious 8-door built-in wardrobe.
- Two massive double-glazed & laminated timber sash windows with black-out french shutters.
The Flat:
- 7-min walk from Highbury & Islington station (Victoria line), 4-min walk from Canonbury overground station.
- Stunning flat with a huge garden, a furnished terrace, and even a garden shed (practical if you own a bike).
- Large size family bathroom with water jet jacuzzi bath tub and a walk-in overhead shower (sharing with the very tidy Natalie)
- Loads of storage throughout the house, so bring your entire collection of... whatever it is you collect.
- Entire flat was refurbished in Summer 2023, and is furnished to a very high standard (including furniture, all kitchen stuff etc.)
- Fully kitted out with all the modern appliances: laundry machine, dryer, smart TV, dishwasher, toaster, gas hob/oven, microwave, kettle, juicer etc.
- You’ll be sharing the flat with two super lovely northerners: Natalie (28f, loves culture, dancing and movies) and James (27m, loves a games night, trip to the pub, and going to gigs - has already been to 77 this year!)
- The flat is super well placed between the greens of Highbury Fields and Clissold Park, and within very close proximity of some of Islington's best-loved cultural landmarks such as the Almeida and the King's Head theaters, Upper Street’s buzzing restaurants and shops, the charming Highbury Barn area, whilst being in close vicinity of the City.
Who We're Looking For:
- Chill but tidy, enjoys hanging out and likes the flat to feel like a home, but not living in each other’s pockets.
The Admin:
- Move-in date is end of October / early November
- Lease is until August 2026
- Estimated bills: £150-200 (includes council tax, water, electricity, gas, high-speed wifi, fortnightly clean, and shared supplies like cleaning products, toilet paper, olive oil etc.)
- Deposit is £1670
- Because you’ll have to go through a referencing check, you must be a professional on a permanent contract. And you’ll need to earn ~3x the rent as a gross monthly salary to pass the landlord’s reference checks.
