Room Available in Highbury, Islington Maisonette

We have a room available now in Islington and looking or a friendly new housemate to complete our home.

We’re having viewings this weekend and looking for someone to move in as soon as possible!
The house:
Right in the heart of Highbury, Islington, the house is a freshly refurbished three-bed maisonette with a large shared bathroom. The communal areas have heaps of space and full of natural light, with an open-plan kitchen and living space, a private south-facing garden that’s great in warmer weather, and even a front yard!

It’s just a minute from Highbury Fields and around a 7-minute walk to Highbury & Islington Station. You’ll be on a relatively quiet street right next to the park, while still being just around the corner from heaps of bars, cafes and the best spots of Islington.

The room:
The bedroom is facing the private garden and comes furnished with an Ottoman bed. Dimensions are (3.0m x 2.1m). The room is on the tighter side, so would be more suited to someone who is fine with hanging out in the common space.

Us:
You’d be living with Marcus, 29 from Singapore, and Matt, 27 from Perth. We’re both working professionals and moved to London recently, so we’re still very keen on making the most of the city. We’re easygoing, friendly and like to keep the place tidy.

We enjoy the outdoors and a bit of sport, especially tennis and runs. The general vibe at home is sociable but laidback. We’re always keen to get together for drinks or food when we’re free and like to have friends over from time to time.

You:
We’re looking for someone clean, considerate and sociable, but also independent. Ideally someone who wants to help keep the home feeling relaxed, welcoming and easy to live in.

The rent is £1,200 per month (excluding bills). Bills are around £100-140.
