Double room available in newly refurbished Victorian terrace 4 bed house in Highbury. £1400 PCM

Location: 5 mins from Highbury Fields and 8 mins from Highbury and Islington Station (zone 2, victoria line and overground)
Also walking distance to many supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars, venues etc that Islington has to offer.

Sadly two of our dear housemates are moving out but this means two rooms are becoming available in our 4 bed house. Both are double rooms furnished including bed, wardrobe and drawers. The rent for each new tenant is £1400 PCM with one room available in September and the other October.

Room 1: Move in from 12 September.
Room 2: Move in from 8 October.

About the house: The house was completely newly renovated two years ago, incl. fresh carpets, walls, mattresses, furniture etc so the landlord is looking for someone who values cleanliness, will respect the property and take care of it like their own. The price pcm also includes a weekly cleaner for communal spaces. However no other bills are included in this price. Bills (gas and electricity, wifi and council tax) tend to average around £150 a month/pp. You are able to buy a resident parking on street if necessary.

We have 2 large living areas, kitchen, dining room, 2 bathrooms and a small garden - large windows allow for a lot of natural light.
This is a super spacious home with plenty of communal space to be together whilst also having areas to chill peacefully by yourself.

Who we are looking for:
M or F. So far this has been a mixed house of 2 girls and 2 guys and we’d be happy to keep that balance but also open to change it up. Ideally another professional, 25+yo, who is settled in London like we are. We are looking for an open-minded person to join our friendly and social vibe 💞 It’s important for the house to feel like our shared home, where we share responsibilities and look out for each other. This would look like spending time chilling together on evenings, socialising outside the house and hosting occasional dinner parties. It also means respecting everyone’s schedules and the need for a calm and peaceful home to come back to after a long day at work. Cleanliness is exceptionally important to us. We want to maintain a shared value of the house as a tidy and calm place of rest 💆‍♀️

About the current housemates:
You will be living with 2 other girls. Francesca (26) and Emily (27). Francesca works in arts programming and Emily as a civil servant. We are a creative, kind and queer-friendly household. We enjoy travelling, visiting exhibitions, going to gigs and exploring local pubs and cafes. If you love dogs it is a bonus, as Francesca dog sits from time to time.

Deposit is 5 weeks rent and one months rent to be paid up front alongside that.
