Highgate underground is a 1 minute walk away which gives you easy access to the Northern Line into the city in around 20 minutes. I really like this location because it's got Muswell Hill, Crouch End and Highgate Village all within walking distance. Its also great for more leafy parts of the city with Highgate Wood just over the road and Waterlow Park up in Highgate Village.
