Room in friendly Highgate flat

Hi everyone!

Our flatmate is moving out from our lovely flat in Highgate at the start of October and we’re looking to find a replacement for the tenancy which goes out to April 2025, with potential to renew the contract for the following year.

The flat is within walking distance of shops, some great pubs and parks. It's around 7 minutes from Highgate station, 10 minutes away from Highgate High Street + Waterlow Park, and 15 minutes from Hampstead Heath.

It's also located on an estate with a great community, they usually host barbecues and afternoon teas! We have made friends with our neighbours who have a whippet so Izzy walks him at least once a week.
ROOM: £840pcm + 5 week deposit (£969.23), and the bills come to about £130 a month. The room comes furnished with bed, mattress and wardrobe. The flat has 1.5 bathroom, a balcony and good size open plan kitchen/living room.

Move in date: Early October, but are open to discussions. Please not that this is not a sublet and your name will be on the contract. You will have to pass referencing or have a UK-based guarantor.

About us!

My name is Aisyah, I'm 24 years old. I was born and raised in Malaysia but I moved to the UK for my degree and I'm currently working in central London! I go in the office 3 days a week but when I'm home I will mostly work in my room. I'm very friendly but I also appreciate my alone time in my safe space.

My name is Izzy, I am 26 years old. I have been living in London for 4 years now and have just qualified as a mental health social worker. I work in the office three days a week and WFH on Mondays and Fridays usually. I spend most of my free time either at the pub, eating out, walking Murphy, going to the theatre or cinema. I’m always up for doing stuff, but also like to rot and watch trash tv.

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for someone friendly who’s easy to get along with but also respects our space and does their own thing. Aisyah and I are both busy with our own lives and friends, but we’d love to find someone we can become friends with too. We take turns cleaning the kitchen and bathroom every two weeks and keep things tidy day-to-day. It’s really important to us to live with someone who’s clean and keeps shared spaces tidy.
