Description
I am looking for two lovely flatmates to complete a 3-bedroom flat share in leafy Highgate. My current two flatmates are sadly moving on mid-November.
I am a health professional in my early 40s looking for friendly, considerate, clean and easy-going flatmates. A perfect match would be a female professional of a not too dissimilar age who likes the odd, civilised social evening but not looking for a party flat (I need my 40 winks so need someone equally calm! 😉). I am up for the occasional comedy or theatre night and having a chat in the living room over some snacks and/or a movie! I do a mix of office and homeworking (approx. 2 days a week).
The flat has lots of windows and is up on the fourth floor of a small block of flats with a lift on a private housing estate and has double glazed windows. 3 bedrooms in all - the middle-sized and small double room are going to be vacant from 25th of November and the flat is going to be repainted prior to this.
The middle-sized room has a king size bed, lots of wardrobe space, and a decent amount of floorspace including under the bed.
The small double room has a cupboard, chest of drawers and a newly acquired small double/queen size bed with under bed space for storage.
There are also storage spaces around the flat such as bookshelves and a storage cupboard.
The communal spaces are a large, shared living room and a decent-sized kitchen with good amenities: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a modern bathroom (with bath and shower), a separate toilet and a balcony (for the 3 days of nice weather we get each year!).
This is a quiet area and 5-10 minutes’ walk from Highgate tube station (northern line) and good bus routes a short walk away, e. g. 271, 43, 134 and 214. There is free, unreserved parking too.
The quaint shops and great pubs of Highgate Village are a few minutes’ walk away and we are within walking distance of Hampstead Heath.
Currently bills are per person c. £110 per month (includes water, broadband, power, TV license and council tax) in addition to rent – this may fluctuate with the increased cost of power, particularly during the winter months.
I look forward to hearing from you 😊
