Hi there! Sadly I’m moving out of this beautiful flat in North London due to work reasons and looking to find a replacement to take my room. A little about the flat….
Location :
Located between Highgate and Crouch End (N6) and is serviced by 2 major bus routes along with being in walking distance to both Highgate and Archway station (Northern Line) The location is peaceful as most neighbouring houses are owned to either side, as well as the other residents in the building. We are the top floor and south facing so the flat gets sun all day long with amazing views over the city
The space :
The flat itself is massive, occupying half of the top floor and consists of 2 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a separate kitchen and huge living area. The flat also comes with an abundance of storage throughout! Floor to ceiling windows in the living area, original wood floors throughout, along with a large south facing balcony.
The bedroom :
My bedroom is also south facing with large double windows and built in triple wardrobes. My bathroom has both a bath and a shower and is directly opposite the bedroom.
The flat came part furnished and both my flatmate and I have added to this - the bedroom itself is unfurnished apart from the built in wardrobes, and theres plenty of space in the flat if you want to bring your own things to furnish too!
The landlord completely remodelled the flat not long ago so everything is new (fridge, washing machine, dishwasher etc) and the whole house is covered by British Gas home insurance too.
About the landlord :
The landlord himself lives overseas but has always been super chilled to deal with and very responsive if we need anything at all - he’s great
Your new flatmate :
You’d be living with me flatmate, 28 year old female working in marketing. She’s kind, super clean and very easy going. She also has a very demanding job so is out of the house quite a lot (she does a couple of WFH days) but also super social so doubt you will see too much of each other.
Boring bits :
Rent is £1250 PCM each
Bills come to round £170 each - which includes, gas, electricity, water, council tax and internet
Dates :
Ideally Im looking to move sooner rather than later but I dont have a fixed date so can be flexible on this. I have some time off in December so am planning to use this time to pack my things up and do the big move. I can however wait until early January to do this. Equally, if you need to be in somewhere on a certain date, we can discuss and find a solution that works for everyone!
The lease finishes at the end of April however my current flatmate is hoping to stay so all being well you can just re-sign and carry on a new tenancy. A deposit would be needed prior to moving in to replace my half (approx £1500)
