Double room with leafy view in Highgate home

Hiya, our lovely Aussie housemate is sadly moving out of our home.

It's a great double sized room with a fireplace within in and a view of the leafy gardens opposite.

The price does not include bills - these come to approx. £120/month. Each house member handles one bill and then we use Splitwise to track and settle on the 1st.

The other housemates are a super lovely bunch of women - easygoing, funny, respectful, creative, wonderful humans.

- Eve, 31F, French/British, Press Officer at a university and likes to climb
- Charlotte, 31F Brit/Armenian, an editor for a newspaper, loves to travel and is learning salsa
- Nicole, 31F Aussie, works in HR, likes electro gigs, travel and hikes
- ilaria, 31F Italian, works in a music studio and will also be new and moving in. She likes theatres and to cook at home.

The way we operate is, we love to host and have friends over but never bring the party home and try to keep noise down when it gets late.

We didn't know each other before renting together but have all gotten on well and become friends.

We all have busy social lives - going to gigs, out climbing or to pilates, going to the pub, but also like to chill together and watch TV now and again, or sometimes going to the pub or swimming at the ponds together.

We want this to feel like a home. You'll it in if you're looking to make a house a home, like to chat while you cook, but also enjoy quiet evenings.

In terms of cleaning, we all clean as we go then we each have one area of the house we 'deep clean' once a month! This way the whole house feels really nice all the time. We are planning to sett up a fortnightly house cleaner for communal areas.

The house itself is split over four floors, with 1 small downstairs loo, a medium sized shower/toilet, then a huge bathroom on the top floor with a show and a bath tub.

The area is absolutely stunning, 20 min walk to Waterloo Park, Highgate Wood, and right next to Parkland Walk. Hampstead Heath is a 30 minute walk.

Central London is a 30 minute maximum journey, and that includes a 5 minute walk to the station.

We're almost equidistant between Highgate and Archway Tube. The 134/43 bus stop is a 3 minute walk.

You can walk to Crouch End in 15 minutes, and Muswell Hill in 25.

We are hoping to have someone move in from 15 Nov. There's a small amount of flexibility so please send me any questions.

Our housemate who is leaving is selling her mattress and bed if you would like it, and the room came with a wardrobe. Other furniture will go.

We are planning to do house viewings in the evening on Weds 5 Nov and possibly also Mon 10 Nov. We will let you know asap after.
