I'm looking for someone to share this lovely old victorian style flat with my other housemates as I will be moving to Manchester September.
The flat is sun filled and peaceful, situated in a calm and green area in South East London. The place has a spacious shared living room and kitchen, a main bathroom and smaller toilet. We are less than a 5 minute walk from Hither green station - which is just a few minutes away from London Bridge and a really short bus or train ride from Lewisham Centre.
Our home is kind of like our peaceful sanctuary. We value and want for this space to be one that feels like a home to all of us- full of care, warmth and sense of community and also respectful and supportive of everyone's individual space/time and life. The flat stays pretty clean and is generally peaceful and calm. As we both work from home some of the time, we’d be looking for someone who is understanding and respectful of that. We are not a party house or drink alcohol, however are happy having friends and family around whilst being respectful of one another’s space.
This space is anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ inclusive and we especially welcome interest from people of colour and are looking for a woman or non-binary person to share the space with.
The move in date is the end of August/start of September and the tenancy starts on the 1st of September. Preferred age range is 20s, but we can be flexible for the right person. The price includes all bills (505 rent + 140 for bills roughly) and good WiFi. This bedroom is furnished with only a bed frame so you could bring/buy your own stuff and make it yours. The flat is on the ground floor but has a short flight up the stairs to the bedrooms, bathroom and toilet upstairs but has no lifts so is not fully accessible sadly.
