I'm looking to rent out a double room in my 2-bed flat. The flat is in a new build complex, 5-minute walking distance from Hither Green station. It's a lovely area with beautiful cafes, parks and amenities. It's green and the neighbors are really friendly. The flat itself has a spacious shared living space with lots of natural light as well as a big balcony. It's on the second floor and there is no lift in this building.
You will be sharing with a female professional in her 30s. I work in publishing and I'm a writer. I work from home three days a week and go into the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. My work desk is in the living room but the space will be accessible while I'm working.
I'm thoughtful, responsible and quiet. I spend my spare time reading and writing. I enjoy trips to the cinema and museums. I've been in London for about five years now and love the city.
I'm looking for a like minded, friendly female/non-binary person to share the flat with. This will be an open, inclusive and LGBT friendly space.
The room is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and bed side table. I can take the chest of drawers out if you want to make space for any small furniture of your own.
The room is available from 1st October. Note that sometimes the noises from the street carry to the room and my friends have noted it's woken them up. It's a cul-de-sac but there have been instances of the neighbors on the street opposite getting loud. This doesn't happen regularly but I thought I would mention anyway! So if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise this might not be for you.
If required there is an underground car parking spot for an extra £50 per month.
