Bright and spacious loft room with private shower-room to rent in our newly renovated family home in Hither Green.

Existing housemates include myself Laura, and my husband Robert, with our two young children, aged 4 and 2. We are both working professionals who work partly from home and partly from the office.

Your room is on the top floor of our family home. It's bright, spacious and airy, with two skylights in the bedroom, another sky light in the landing, and a further skylight directly above the walk-in shower, so you can shower under the stars! We have recently installed a water softener, which means the shower stays limescale free, with water which is better for your skin.

The bedroom is furnished with blackout blinds, a double bed and wardrobe. A brand new mattress will be added shortly, and we are happy to furnish with other furniture if needed. There is super-fast fibre broadband throughout the house, with cat6 ethernet sockets in your room as well.

We are located right across the road from the beautiful Manor House Gardens, which has a lovely café, duck pond, library and tennis courts. There is a huge sense of community here, centred around the park.

It's a short 13 minute walk to either Hither Green or Blackheath train stations, with fast direct trains to London Bridge (10 mins), Waterloo East (16 mins), Charing Cross (20 mins) Cannon Street (20 mins), Victoria (26 mins).

Your room is accessed via the house front door and up two flights of stairs. The bedroom has a lock for your security and peace of mind.

Other things to note:

You are welcome to use our newly renovated shared kitchen/dining space (with dishwashers, hob and two ovens), as well as our west-facing garden. There is a washer/dryer and separate utility room also available for your use.

Our road has on street permit parking.
