Spacious double room to rent in a gorgeous flat in South Eats London! 🌿(SE13).

The flat is super conveniently located within walking distance (15 mins) to Ladywell, Catford, Catford Bridge and Hither Green Station. We’ve got a Tesco express on the corner, with an Aldi and big Tesco all within walking distance.

Easy links to central London, direct trains to Charing Cross and London Bridge as well as Peckham 🔥 . Also cycling distance to lovely South Lndn spots, Nunhead, Peckham, Crofton Park, Brockley, Beckenham place and so on 🕺

The flat’s listed as a 3 bed, but one of the rooms is quite small so we’ve been using it as a little home office/studio. Very happy for it to stay this way, really convenient if you work from home/have a creative practice and want a little space to work!

The flats honestly a real gem, nice big back garden, it feels really spacious and modern, really well insulated for the winters, hard wood flooring all great appliances ✨. It was unfurnished when we moved in but has since been furnished, so the only thing you’d need to bring with you is a bed to replace the one my flatmates bought when they moved in :).

You’d be living with me (Paul 🤠), I’m an Art teacher working in Peckham, got a pretty active life, between climbing, teaching, going to the gym (there’s also a pure gym down the road), being in a choir, going to gigs, poetry nights, exhibitions and nights out; it’s been really lovely to have the flat as a place to decompress and recharge.

My flat mates and I have a lot of affection for the place so looking for someone who’d do the same and treat it well. Would love to share the flat with someone I get on with, can share the occasional meal, or even head out for a boogie 🪩, but at the same time very content being independent and just having the odd chat when we’re both about.

The room will be available from the 15th September, I’ll be away most of August, but my current flatmates are happy to host viewings during this time. Welcome to couples for a little more rent 💸.

This isn’t a sublet so I would be looking for someone to be added to the tenancy. We use open rent and have a really positive relationship with our landlord.
