I'm looking for a new flatmate to join me in our spacious, bright and comfortable flat in Hither Green / Catford.
The flat is technically a three-bedroom property, but one of the rooms we've turned it into a dedicated home office/studio. That means you'll have your own large double bedroom and a separate room that you can use for working from home, studying, creative projects, storage, etc.
The flat also has a large back garden, spacious living room, separate kitchen, hardwood floors and both a bathroom and separate toilet. It's a really lovely place to live and, importantly, feels like a proper home rather than just a room in a house share.

The bedroom is a large double room with big built in wardrobes and plenty of space for a bed, and other furniture.
The additional office/studio room is not used by myself (as a teacher I don’t work from home). Having full use of it means you don't have to turn your bedroom into your office — you can close the door at the end of the working day and actually have a separate living space.

🚆 Location

We're really well connected to the rest of southeast London and central London, while still having the benefit of a quieter residential area.
Hither Green, Ladywell and Catford stations are all within easy reach, with regular trains into central London and London Bridge.
You're also close to Brockley, Crofton Park, Lewisham and Peckham, so there's plenty around for pubs, cafés, restaurants, parks, climbing, etc.

👋 About me

I'm an art teacher, generally have quite a busy life outside the flat. I enjoy bouldering, am in the pure gym down the road most days, making things, music, cooking, and getting out and about around London.
I'm sociable and enjoy having a chat or sharing a meal/drink, but I'm also independent and have my own life — so I'm looking for someone who feels similarly. I'm not looking for a party house, but I also don't want the flat to feel like two strangers living in a hotel.
Ideally, I'd like someone who is friendly, considerate, clean and happy to contribute to making the flat a nice place to live.

£1,100 per month + bills
Bills are shared fairly between the flatmates. I'll be happy to give you a clear breakdown of the typical monthly costs when we arrange a viewing.
