Description
Hi everyone! We have a room available in our flat from late February 2025 as our third flatmate is sadly moving out. We’re looking to renew our contract as we’d love to stay, so we’re looking for someone to confirm before the end of this month.
-- About the flat ---
It's a split-level flat on the fifth (and last) floor of the building (elevator present). It's just off the main road, so there are loads of bus and tube stops within very close reach, while having no noise issues due to being on a quiet street.
The windows and roof have recently been replaced. The flat was The flat was recently fitted with new double-glazed windows, so it stays super warm and dry. (Ps the scaffolding in the picture has now gone)
The room is bright and airy, with a double bed and lots of storage due to a large and deep built-in closet. It's quiet (it faces a courtyard) and has a double window with blackout blinds and a large built-in desk.
There is one full bathroom and one half-bathroom (toilet + washing machine). Both have windows.
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with many utensils and appliances (including fridge with freezer, oven, air fryer, microwave, milk frother, rice cooker) and a good amount of storage.
The living room is wide and has a Smart TV, amazing for movie and show watching.
Flat layout: the three bedrooms and the bathroom are on the upper floor. The living room, kitchen and half-bathroom/washroom are on the lower tloor.
Bills:
- Heating/hot water included
- Water, Wi-Fi, Electricity and Council Tax (Band:
D) come to about 100 pounds/month.
Important admin details:
- The tenancy starts on February 27th 2025 for an 18 month period
- Reference checks include a minimum yearly salary requirement of 35,450 pounds.
- Who we are looking for ---
A tidy easy-going working professional, who is looking for a peacetul and friendly home, with a good balance between your own downtime and some socialising. You also need to be OK with sticking to a (very simple) weekly cleaning rota, that ensures the flat's tidiness.
Current flatmates are both 25 year old professionals working with a hybrid WH/WFO schedule depending on the period. We are pretty laidback and equally down to having our own downtime or hanging out together.
If this sounds like a good match for you, drop me a message introducing yourself and we can get a viewing arranged! :)
