Hi! We are looking for a new flatmate to join us in our 3-bedroom flat in Holloway N7 (Islington).

The room is 580+bills (around 600 without council tax, 690 with council tax (band D)). Move possible immediately, latest 2nd week of July. This is a long term 12-month contract, but short term lets are considered. There's no deposit, but the agency will generally need a proof of employment.

We are two guys, me (Noa, 26) and Adam (22). I’m a recent graduate and I’m working in hospitality as I’m setting up my design career and Adam is studying data science and ecology. We met through the café down the road where we both work. We host movie+ dinner parties sometimes for friends, but this is not a party house as we need a place to rest and recharge.

Our ideal flatmate would be someone in their mid/late 20s, who is tidy and a good communicator. The house is quite clean and it’s good if everyone played their part cleaning. Clean as you go in the kitchen is important, as well as not leaving dishes for more than a day etc.

The room:
The room is quite small, at 3x2 square meters. There is some furniture (a textile wardrobe, a desk and a bed) but you’re free to remove them and put your own. The mattress is not included. The bed is a single bed, but previously the room had a twin bed, together with a wardrobe, and no desk. So you’re free to arrange it how you like, buy a double bed, or a single mattress. You can repaint the room if you’d like, we have painting supplies. I did it with mine, only took a day and a half. Because the room is so small, you are also getting storage in the living room black shelf (will be emptied out) and under the desk, which you can use as a out-of-room workspace. The desk is big at 78x115.

The flat:
The flat is in zone 2 north London, 20 minutes by bus to Kings Cross, 15 minutes on foot to Finsbury Park, Archway and Holloway Road tube stations, super well connected to central, north and east London. 2 Tescos, a Lidl, Iceland, Boots, big Morrisons, big Waitrose and Sainsbury's within 10 minute walk! Good cafes, pubs and food places around. There is a spacious living room with a big desk, sofa+armchairs and a big kitchen with a table. The landlord is willing to listen to concerns and fixes/replaces broken appliances quickly. Boiler, fridge and washing machine are all new.

Accessibility:
The flat is on the third (last) floor of a block of flats with no lift and 45 steps leading up to the flat. There is no phone entry system. Reach out to me about specific accessibility requirements, I’d do my best to help you.
