Spacious double room in quiet Holloway

Our roommate is buying a flat so we have a wonderful double room available in quiet Holloway to rent at £805 per month (bills extra). The room is on the top floor & faces the back garden, out onto the park - so lots of natural light. The room itself does come unfurnished however the bed frame/mattress & wardrobe could be an option to purchase if needed. Please note, you would be taking over the contract which ends on the 29th of March 2025, however there is the potential to renew as we’re both keen to stay!

The house is large & spacious, split over three levels - tucked away in a gated courtyard so it’s quiet & secure. We have a separate living room (a real London treat!), a great kitchen and even better backyard which backs onto a park. There is also a spare car park space if needed.

Location wise it’s great. We’re 10-15 minutes away from the Northern Line (Archway), Piccadilly Line (Holloway Road) & Victoria Line (Finsbury Park). Plus the bus stop is just out the front. The high street has tonnes of grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Plus we have a local Odeon which is nice to spontaneously enjoy from time to time.

A little about us! Nicola is from Cambridgeshire, but has lived in London for almost 15 years. She works in costume and loves being outdoors ideally with horses. I’m (Alistair) originally from Australia, but like most of us have been in UK/EU for quite some time. I’m also into being active around London, including sports (i. e. going to the local lido), hanging out with friends, and checking out the best places to eat and drink.

We are both easy going & like respecting each other's space as a shared house. We take turns to do an equal share of house chores and cleaning and cleaning products. Although we like a balance of our own time we do enjoy hanging out, appreciating new adventures in London, and would be keen to create the vibe in the house (but no pressure!). We both work between the office and from home, so we’re flexible with how the new person fits around that.

We’re looking for a professional who appreciates the above, has respect and consideration for sharing, but also would enjoy our home together. Open to Male or Female in their early to late 30s (LGBTQ, Vegetarian, Vegan, etc - all welcome).

Bills are split evenly: electricity, gas, internet & water equals around £150 per month but we appreciate that this can fluctuate so we track this separately.
