Location: between Tufnell Park / Kentish Town / Caledonian Road tubes so well connected for a variety of lines, as well as many bus routes nearby. We’re close to Camden and Highbury, as well as the big shops on Holloway Road, and we’re a 25 minute walk from the heath. There’s some lovely shops and cafes nearby. It’s a great neighbourhood and we feel very lucky to live here for the price!
The room is a large double which comes with a double bed, desk, wardrobe, and chest of drawers as pictured.
We have no living room, which is why the rent is so cheap, but we have a bathroom with a bath, and a kitchen. The landlord is generally pretty good and responsive. Normal referencing applies and housing benefits accepted.
You’d be sharing with two others. I’m Grace, 33y/o queer woman, about to leave teaching for tech, into reading, collaging, drawing, DJing, writing, tarot, meditation, queer nights and big walks. Em is a 32y/o bisexual woman, who works as a holiday nanny and is an ex-pastry chef, loves skating, swimming and going to see live music.
Unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible, we are on the second floor so there are two flights of stairs and there is no lift. Inside the flat, is it all on one floor and there is a phone entry system. The building feels very secure and safe. It’s quiet and all our rooms have lovely green views out the windows.
We’re looking for someone roughly our age who is friendly, clean, quiet, thoughtful and a good communicator. We’re definitely not a party house but we like to go to the odd queer night or out for dinner together.
