Hey hey 👋
I'm sadly moving out of my flat in Holloway, as I'm moving back to Australia. We are looking for a new housemate, with your move in date some time between September 28th & October 7th, and ideally staying long term! I'll do my best to describe the place, but please do ask any questions you might have.
🏡 The house: It's a 4 story terrace, with a dedicated kitchen & dining room up front, and living room & garden out back, with the rooms up stairs (yours is on the first floor).
🚪Room: It's massive. I could easily fit a desk, double bed, wardrobe, cabinet, and still have room for yoga & whatever else. It's got high ceilings, and is also south facing with two massive windows that let in a ton of light. There's a heater too for winter. It also has an en-suite, with a sink, mirror, and shower tub. Since i'm moving overseas, you're welcome to inherit all the furniture, and anything (e. g plant) that I won't be taking with me
🎯 Location: Probably the best you'll find in Zone 2. There's a Morrisons & Lidl (Nag's head) about 100m away, and there are so many nice food options even closer. It's a ~8 minute walk from Holloway station, or a ~10 minute walk from Finsbury park
👫 Housemates: A great bunch, we've all moved in fairly recently. We've got a mix of professionals & students, who all have healthy social lives - but are super welcoming and enjoy a drink together from time to time. We've recently re-organized the living room for winter movie nights, and we are all quite a social bunch.
The lease runs until July 7th next year, so rent will be locked until then! In terms of bills, these are not included in the rent (energy, water, wifi & council tax) and are paid monthly using Splitwise to track expenses
