Beautiful Flat With Great Connections

Double room available in a lovely modern flat in Holloway! My flatmate of two years is moving out as he's buying a house, so I'm looking for someone new to move in and make the place feel like a home. Ideally looking for someone who works from an office or hybrid, but open to fellow work-from-homers too!

THE FLAT
- Top-floor flat split across two floors.
- Shared garden with lovely neighbours.
- Large open-plan living room/kitchen.
- Partially furnished – my current flatmate is leaving some furniture, but happy to donate/swap things out if you want to bring your own.
- The entrance is on the ground floor, with access to the shared garden and a private staircase up to the living area.
- The bathroom pictured is technically shared, but I have an en suite so I'll barely use it meaning it's essentially your own bathroom!
- There are 50+ stairs from the ground floor to the living area, so unfortunately the flat isn't wheelchair accessible.

THE ROOM
- Small but cosy south-facing bedroom with loads of natural light during the day and Velux windows with blackout blinds.
- Huge built-in wardrobe.
- Although relatively small, it comfortably fits a small double bed, desk/chair, TV and even a keyboard.

ME
I'm a 32-year-old Irish freelancer working in the music industry. I love cooking, music, Xbox, films/TV and playing/watching football. I work from home, but spend plenty of evenings out playing football, seeing friends or at my partner's.

I'm sociable and would love to live with someone I can hang out with at home or occasionally go for a drink with, while also appreciating that we both have our own lives, privacy and downtime.

As I work from home, having a clean and tidy space is important to me, so I'm looking for someone similarly minded. I'm not into cleaning rotas or anything like that, would rather someone considerate and proactive about keeping shared spaces nice!

LOCATION
- 10–15 min walk to Holloway Road, Upper Holloway and Archway stations.
- 15–20 min walk to Finsbury Park.
- Around 10 mins by bus to Highbury & Islington.
- 5 min walk to a big Lidl and Morrisons, and 3 mins to Sainsbury's Local.
- Loads of nearby amenities, restaurants, gyms and cinemas, plus some excellent North London pubs.
