Description

Overview:
The flat is located in a pleasant cul-de-sac, 2 minutes from a Piccadilly line tube station in a new and stylish complex with some convenient amenities: Onsite gym, supermarket (Tescos, open 7am-11pm), 24 hr concierge, and elevators (though we're on the first floor). The complex also has some beautiful landscaped water gardens and we own a parking bay in the underground garage - should you have a car or wish to rent one. Easy access to King's Cross St. Pancras and Russell Square (UCL).

Your Room:
Decently spacious double bedroom in a new apartment. The flat is amazingly quiet and peaceful and perfect for a good night's rest after a long day of work/study :) Everything is furnished!

Your Bills:
Electricity and the internet cost 30 pounds/month on average.

Your Roommates:
A 21-year old, Japanese male: born and raised in Detroit in the USA; he studies math and physics at UCL. He likes programming, digital art, and skateboarding. A half of the living room is converted into his space and the other half is the dining area.

A 20-year old, Japanese female: born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She went to a high school in Singapore and moved to London to start an undergraduate programme in architecture at UCL. She likes cooking, watching TV shows, and dancing.

Both of them are very responsible, communicative, and relatively quiet. They study most of the time and hang out occasionally. Very nice and lovely people :)

Shared spaces:
You will share a large bathroom with another person (if you are male, you will share it with a male roommate; if you are female, you will share it with a female roommate). The kitchen, dining area, and book shelves are shared with two other people.

Area:
For foodies, Islington Upper street is a 15 minute walk and lined with restaurants to satisfy most taste-buds, as well as some swank bars and cafes for the hip. Highbury fields is a 10 minute walk and is a beautiful expanse of green which we like to jog around.

Shopping is also excellent. In addition to the onsite Tesco, there is also both a full-size Waitrose and a full-size Morrissons supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away, located within the Nag's Head Shopping Centre.

Getting-around:
Perfectly located 2 minutes away from the Piccadilly Line (the main tube line for a lot of London's tourist attractions), 4 minutes from St. Pancras International or Kings Cross (British Library and Eurostar to Paris), 10 minutes from UCL, 13 minutes from Holborn/Covent Garden/Leicester Sq, 15 minutes from Oxford street and The British Museum, and 60 minutes from Heathrow airport.

Me:
I am a 27-year old, Japanese female, doing a PhD at UCL. Unfortunately, I need to move out because of my work circumstances.

You:
Please tell me about yourself: where you are from, what you have been/will be doing in London, what you like to do for fun, etc. If you have any questions, please send me a message!

Move-in:
My moving-out date is flexible! So please drop me a message if you prefer moving in before/after Jan 15, 2019.
